While it is the primary obligation of the parents to educate their
children in the ways of the Lord (Deuteronomy 6:6, 7), we as
a church family want to support the parents. First Alliance Church offers
four wonderful programs for children.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH
Children's church is held during the 10:00 AM Worship
Service on Sunday morning. The children volunteer to read the scripture
aloud, discuss the lesson and apply it to their lives. Lessons also
include activities, games, crafts, and a Take Home Challenge.
The Take Home Challenge offers ways to reinforce the lesson
at home, school, and public places. It also creates an opportunity for
the whole family to get involved!
Other activities for Children's Church include offering, prayer requests
(in a prayer journal), movies, snacks, and volunteering for various
church-related jobs.
